Maureen Denise McCormick, youngest daughter and sole daughter of Richard McCormick as well as Irene McCormick, was born in Woodland Hills on 5 August 1956. She was also the mother of a housekeeper. Michael, Dennis, and Kevin are her three oldest brothers. McCormick was a talented singer and dancer from an early age. She performed puppet shows to the kids in her neighborhood. The fairy tale began for McCormick when she was six years old, and she won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest. She then received a call to Pat Domigan, a talent agent from the Jack Wormser Agency. He was interested in her desire to be a part of the show business. Her first major role came in 1964 when she was featured in an advertisement for Mattel's new doll "Baby Pattaburp." Later that year, she starred in another commercial for Mattel's "Chatty the Cathy" doll, and soon was included in the show Wind It Up and It Breaks, in the Playhouse at The La Jolla Playhouse. McCormick was the eldest of three daughters with two heads in The Brady Bunch TV comedy The Brady Bunch. Florence Henderson was the main character while Robert Reed was the father. This show lasted for five years. In her memoir, Here's the Story: How I Survived Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice which was published in 2008, McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season of the show, she was close to losing her virginity to her screen brother and co-star, Barry Williams. In 2008, McCormick revealed in her book Here's the Truth: Surviving the Marcia Brady and Discovering My True Voice, that during season five on the show, she was close to losing her virginity to actor Barry Williams. It would have been possible according to her. "But the timing of our deaths was not right."
